Alice in Wonderland and the Caterpillar

Alice in Wonderland and the Caterpillar

2011
phony woodcut
6" x 9"

A second illustration done for Mike Schneider's project where the entire book of " Alice In Wonderland " would be told completely by illustration with no text. This is the paragraph this drawing was based on:

“Are you content now?” said the Caterpillar.

‘Well, I should like to be a little larger, sir, if you wouldn't mind,” said Alice, “Three inches is such a wretched height to be.”
