An Apple A Day Keeps The Doctor Away
2006
phony woodcut
8-1/2" x 5-7/8"
This was done for a local magazine for creatives called The Big Idea. They asked for submissions from illustrators and photographers of their interpretation of apples. Mine was accepted, although it was reproduced pretty small. Here it is reproduced larger.
Normally I use markers to render my phony woodcuts, but this time I also used a brush pen for the rendering of the apple skin.
